Lego Star Wars Jedi Duel

On that note, my only complaint is that this should have been a Yoda-based set. I would have much preferred simply having something like Yoda's hovering chair- perhaps the scene where Yoda was teaching the young Jedi trainees (fans read: Padawans), with a piece of floor tile and using a lightsaber as a stand and clear crystal as the little info thingy (fans read: Jedi Holocron). Then Dooku could have gotten his own set ($$$ Dooku and speeder)

Collectors will want Dooku and Yoda. Children will be able to integrate this set into any other, since the recognizable characters will make a quick addition to playtime. The strange laser thingy that troubles older builders has a shape that should be instantly fascinating to kids. Even for the youngest of builders should love the colors and shapes found throughout this set, especially the little green man (from Mars? interesting play idea...)

The moment you've all been waiting for has finally arrived. Yes, Yoda is finally available in LEGO form. Personally that's the only reason I wanted to buy this set. It was very nice of LEGO not to have Yoda only available in some hundred dollar set and the Count is a nice bonus. As far as the other building pieces, I was rather unimpressed. LEGO is becoming increasingly dependant on new shapes and less pieces included in their sets. Despite this fact LEGO remains one of the top toys to buy your children to develop their minds and imaginations. Needless to say this is a "must-have" for all you Star Wars fans.

I like this set a lot because you get two rare (and I mean so rare that you can not get them in any other set!) mini-figures, Yoda and Count Dooku, otherwise known as Darth Tyrranus. Count Dooku's lightsaber has a uniquely designed lightsaber with a bent hilt(just like in the movie)! Take off Dooku's head and put it in Darth Maul's clothes and he kinda looks like a younger-than-you've-ever-seen Darth Sidous! Now for Yoda. His head is very complicated(so complicated that I bet that Lego designers spent hours creating the first one!). Yoda's lightsaber is taller than Yoda himself! Yoda's only downside is that his legs do not bend or move just like Boba Fett's legs, so he is always standing or lying down( on his face or on his back, you decide!). Yoda's robe is not found in any other set, and he has green hands. With the two mini-figures comes a crane and a speeder. I like to pretend that Count Dooku is flying around on his speeder while being chased by Yoda and dodging the crane. Now go, shoo! Go read some other reviews and then you will really know how much fun this set actually is.

This is soooooo cool - I cant believe I finally got this with money from my Grandma in Illinois - I like to carry these little guys around in my pants pocket as much as possible - you never know when you might need that lighted light saber that YODAMAN carries around - Dooko has finally met his match - get this one all you Star Wars freaks (like me) - even better now that it is on sale
