 Enjoyable surprise for 24 Days! January 23, 2008

My nine-year old had lots of fun discovering a toy every day for 24 days. As other reviewers have mentioned, it would be better if more of the items were holiday-related, but my child can always find use for any type of Legos so overall this was a good item. The items are "City" type Legos. Some parts are very small so I would not recommend this for very young children.

It was awesome. My son,8, looked forward to opening a door each day. I thought the amount of Legos and specialized pieces made it a fair price.
I will warn, however, that Amazon did not send this out in time for the first day of Advent. It came on Dec 7th for us, about two weeks after I ordered it. I really thought it would have come sooner than that. So preplan!

5 yr-old son loved getting a treat each morning as he counted down the days to Christmas. Works great with his other Lego City toys.

We love lego's but we would like to see more ornaments in the calender...a few years ago it almost all about Christmas and this year it was kind of lame people and their tools. Amazon was great and everything arrived on-time!!

We have been getting the Lego Advent calenders for the last several years for both of our sons (both 10 and under). It's now a tradition! They love getting up each morning starting December 1st and seeing what Lego figure or item they will get.

What Gadgets/vehicles do you think the clone troopers/battle droids/stormtroopers/rebel could use? List it like this: Name of Gadget/Vehicle Designed for use by (insert stormtroopers, battle droids, etc here) What it does Why it would be useful To start: Emergency Teleport Device Clone troopers Teleports to a pre-set location. It would be useful because Clone troopers sometimes need to get out of sticky situations in a hurry, report to HQ, etc. I will rate your gadgets from one to five. (OH NO!!! Hello Lego Star Wars fans! If you were a Lego Star Wars character what planet would you live on? I would live on coruscant because it is a big city.
WHO IS BETTER? A STORMTROOPER OR A CLONETROOPER?
Title says all. I think its a clone trooper because they are better at aiming, are more intelligent, help their injured companions, are independent, can work together, and have better armour. I know they seem better because they were only CGI (but didn't seem like it) and that the stormtroopers were older, and from the original Star Wars movies, I still like clones.
