 AWESOME! Very cool to look at, play with, fun to build, great lego set November 26, 2008
This set was extremely rewarding to build, we marveled at how it all went together. All the droids included sent my son into a dizzy spell. (he saved his allowance and did extra chores for this one)
The carrier for the droids does move in and out of the ship. Now our round door hatch comes off frequently during play, but otherwise this a fairly strudy lego set.
My 7 year old needed help putting this one together but that is to be expected he's younger than the target age, this is great for creative play, you can play with it, it was fun to build so 5 stars.

Took my 9 year old a couple hours to build and he enjoyed every minute of it. He really enjoys the lego and this one is very sturdy, sledom breaks bits off. It has a lot of cool little stash spots for the clones and guns etc...

My son saved his allowance and earnigns for half a year to get this but I have to state its one of the best in the lego star-wars line. It is fairly advanced design so I would not recommend it for novice lego users but he was absorbed for two solid days putting it together. (Most parents would like that part best :)) After completing it because it comes with more of the actual action figures than most kits he has gotten weeks and weeks of play time having battles across his bedroom floor. So overall though pricey I would give it a thumbs up if you have a lego-maniac in your house too.

We bought this for my 8 yr. old son who is Lego crazy. He enjoyed putting it together and it stays together better than most of the other Star Wars Lego sets. It took him three afternoons after school to put it together and he is still playing with it and it hasn't fallen apart. Some of the others fall apart pretty soon after building and go into the "lego box" which causes frustration on both our parts as these kits are so expensive.

You can save $100 just by buying through Lego. The photos are the same so you're not getting anything different. I don't get it.

LEGO STAR WARS ROLEPLAY!
Hey, Lego Star Wars fans! Ever wanted to be a Clone? Well now you can! This is a roleplay, a text-based storytelling game, where you and other players fight and adventure through the star wars world! This is an Rebublic vs. Separatist game, so you can't be a jedi or a sith, just a clone trooper. In this, you are a member of the famed 501st, with Captain Rex as your leader. Here's a list of what you can be: Clone Commander(3): You get to order others around and carry cool gear and stuff! ;) Clone Sharpshooter: Use a really awesome long-range blaster and snipe out the enemy! Clone Pilot: Pilot the various vehicles in the Clone Wars, like the V-19 Torrent! Clone Technician: Fix the broken-down vehicles. A very needed postion. Clone Trooper: Fight for the Rebublic! Well there you go! Have fun! Oh, and this is a literate game, so no chatspeak or lolspeak, or smilies. And please try to spell everything right.

I reckon the best colour for a lightsaber is GREEN coz all cool jedi members use them the colour GREEN like ace master Yoda so I would choose GREEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
