 Tie fighters are great March 9, 2008
Tie fighters and darth vadars spaceships are crucial bits of lego for anyones collection and having built a few tie fighters in the past, I was really impressed with the design and build quality of these. You wouldn't think that Tie fighters differ from one set to the next, but they do! I believe over time the lego masters in Denmark have progressed and improved the design of the ships. They all look the same essentially, but its the subtle details that change and improve.
I have to say this is a great bit of kit, quick to build and fun to fly around the room, the droid ship that comes with it is really cool too, but I can't figure out why it is included? Although having an extra ship in my collection, I am not complaining about. The design of them all are great with some lovely little design touches, great use of colour on the bricks and the fact I now have another darth vadar in my collection rocks!

This is a great set of Tie Fighters for your Lego Star Wars Collection. It goes great with the Tie Interceptor and Tie Bomber since all 4 sets use the same basic Tie design. The "wings" on the standard tie fighters can be a little wobbly but if you rearrange the positioning of the flat 2-by-3 on the top of each wing pylon it will make them much more stable (use it to bridge the seam and then use two extra gray or blue flat 1-by-2's to fill out the remaining gap that was left by moving the 2-by-three.) The mini-figs are pretty cool. Pay close attention when putting the cape on Darth Vader...what looks like two arm holes are actually meant to overlap on the neck post and give the cape a curved effect.
My one dig is that the aft engine exhaust port on the Advanced Tie fighter leaves a little to be desired. A few spare parts were needed to give it a sort of "engine" main thruster look

I bought this Item for my husband for xmas and he loved it but once they were all put together they would fall apart fairly easy but other then that they are great I highly recomend this especialy for a husband or son.

This set is so neat. It comes with two TIE Fighters, one TIE/d Fighter, and a
TIE Advance! This set also comes with Two TIE Pilots, a driod brain and Darth Vader(complete with a red lightsaber and a cape). All of the ships are sturdy
and they are hard to brake. This set is very good for collecting or just to play with. This set is good for the price, and I recommend you to buy it.

LEGO STAR WARS ROLEPLAY!
Hey, Lego Star Wars fans! Ever wanted to be a Clone? Well now you can! This is a roleplay, a text-based storytelling game, where you and other players fight and adventure through the star wars world! This is an Rebublic vs. Separatist game, so you can't be a jedi or a sith, just a clone trooper. In this, you are a member of the famed 501st, with Captain Rex as your leader. Here's a list of what you can be: Clone Commander(3): You get to order others around and carry cool gear and stuff! ;) Clone Sharpshooter: Use a really awesome long-range blaster and snipe out the enemy! Clone Pilot: Pilot the various vehicles in the Clone Wars, like the V-19 Torrent! Clone Technician: Fix the broken-down vehicles. A very needed postion. Clone Trooper: Fight for the Rebublic! Well there you go! Have fun! Oh, and this is a literate game, so no chatspeak or lolspeak, or smilies. And please try to spell everything right.

I reckon the best colour for a lightsaber is GREEN coz all cool jedi members use them the colour GREEN like ace master Yoda so I would choose GREEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
