A minifig set. November 26, 2003
Final Duel I is a nice little Lego set. It comes with two awesome minifigs: Darth Vader and the Emperor himself! Vader comes with his lightsaber and the Emperor is provided with a swiveling chair and "TIE Fighter style" window piece as seen in Return of the Jedi. Buy this set with Final Duel II to recreate the classic battle between Vader and Luke Skywalker. Overall a cool set. Good job Lego!!!!

This is such a great scene in Star Wars and now it's your very own. Darth Vadar and the Emperor. Personally, I've made many of these figures into a delightful chess set of my very own. But you can do anything you want with them. Set the scene to your tastes and display the fun around the house. If you're like me and you like LEGO and love Star Wars this is the perfect set (one of many) to collect. So, what are you waiting for? LEGO sets don't stay in program very long so you must be quick.

Like some the other small Star Wars LEGO sets, this particular set focuses mainly on characters (Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine in this case) rather than the fun of building LEGO models.

There isn't much to build -- put the figures together and build a chair for the emperor -- but throw in a Luke Skywalker figure (available in many other Star Wars sets) and you can recreate the classic scene from Return of the Jedi. Grab a handful of black and grey bricks from the rest of your LEGO collection to complete the Death Star scene and have your own lightsabre battle!

Lego has produced another wonderful Star Wars kit for younger kids. There are very few pieces that means less chances for losing small pieces! The pictures were easy enough for my five year old to follow along with help from me. He did have some problems with the smaller pieces because of the dexterity needed for these kits. I suppose this will help him to improve in these skills. My son was able to put the people together without any help or instructions. He loves the scene! I only gave the durability of this kit a "4" because the window sometimes pops off. The Emperor does not sit easily in the chair or he cannot hold the lightsabre in his hand while sitting. It could be me. I do recommend this set for ages 5 and up. They will probably need assistance but will love it!
