 There IS a second base for Mawhonic's pod! March 20, 2007
For all those who are dissatisfied by the fact the instructions show only one podracer base, take heart! If you don't build the 'junkyard' arches, you can use those pieces and follow the instructions to build a second base. This is certainly an intentional move on the part of the designers, who then rebuilt the second base into the arches to give increased playability and justify the inclusion of the 'Watto' figure.
(I knocked off one point because the Watto figure leaves something to be desired, and for the lack of a Mawhonic figure to pilot the second pod.)

As a huge Star Wars and Lego fan, I had to get this set. Oh my gosh. This set is great. It includes two Podracers, Aldar Beedo's and Mawhonic's. Aldar's blue, white, and red machine features blocky engines and roomy cockpit. One of the downsides is about Mawhonic's Pod. It doesn't come with the thing to balance it! You have to take it off Aldar's Pod and put it on! This is why I took away one star for the fun rating. The figures are awesome, Aldar Beedo and Watto himself. As another reviewer mentioned, Watto should have a bit of brown for his belt. Instead he is all blue. The included "junkyard" is very nice and is good to have. It has a set of tools too. There are also two screen things to see the race. Watto comes with a clear brick to help make him look like he is flying. All in all this a terrific set despite the flaws and is definetly worth the beef.

Another set from Lego that is both disappointing and exciting. Exciting in the fact that if you bought the Mos Espa Lego set, then you would now have another two Pod Racers to add to your set. The Pods look fantastic when completed. There is, however, a few disappointing aspects to this set. One is the Watto figure which is all blue and looks very cheap and nasty. A little brown colouring on his belt would have highlighted this figure considerably. The second feature disappointing is that only one Pod has a base to it. I would have prefered another based instead of the boring 'junkyard' that was included. A few arches does not make a 'junkyard.' Lego should have just given the Pod a base for children to hold on to and for collectors to display the Pod rather than that rubbish junkyard. Although, I was disappointed in what this set was, I can't help but look at the Pods and classify this set as a good addition to any collection.

I am a fairly big Star Wars fan and have a massive Lego collection, including the big Podrace kit, which gives me five Lego podracers in total (Anakin, Sebulba, Gasgano, Aldar Beedo and Mawhonic). The kits are quite realstic and are fun to make, but the real fun, at least for me, is using the basic parts along with odds and end from my huge pile of junk (Ever see the Watto's junkyard scene? Close enough.) to try to build replicas of ALL the pods and even ones of my own. The kit's basic components lend themselves very nicely to this kind of thing. Overall I am very happy with the kit, but others with less kitbashing junk than me may not have a great a time with it as I did.

LEGO STAR WARS ROLEPLAY!
Hey, Lego Star Wars fans! Ever wanted to be a Clone? Well now you can! This is a roleplay, a text-based storytelling game, where you and other players fight and adventure through the star wars world! This is an Rebublic vs. Separatist game, so you can't be a jedi or a sith, just a clone trooper. In this, you are a member of the famed 501st, with Captain Rex as your leader. Here's a list of what you can be: Clone Commander(3): You get to order others around and carry cool gear and stuff! ;) Clone Sharpshooter: Use a really awesome long-range blaster and snipe out the enemy! Clone Pilot: Pilot the various vehicles in the Clone Wars, like the V-19 Torrent! Clone Technician: Fix the broken-down vehicles. A very needed postion. Clone Trooper: Fight for the Rebublic! Well there you go! Have fun! Oh, and this is a literate game, so no chatspeak or lolspeak, or smilies. And please try to spell everything right.

JEDI COUNCIL MEETINGS
hello fellow jedi. I just thought that it would be neat if we could make a jedi counsel. Of course if you are like me, a padawan, you won't be on the counsel. you have to pass the test first. here it goes. true or false: Obi wan owned Boga. Super battle droids were invented by who? what was obi wan's famouse line after defeting general greviouse? who trained greviouse? what episode did anakin and padme get married? name the 5 jedi masters who went to defeat palpatine. if you pass this test your on tha cousel.
