Collectors will find this rendition of Boba Fett's ship from Star Wars: Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back to be the best one yet when compared to previous incarnations of Slave I. It's bigger than the original Lego model (7144), which was released in 2000, and its bricks have truer colors. In addition, this version has about 100 more pieces than the 2002 release (7153) and is offered at a lower price point, plus has a much sturdier chassis. Features of this Slave I include a rotating and self-leveling cockpit and foils, a trap door that opens up to drop space mines, a top hatch that opens and launches a large missile, two side cargo compartments that store and drop rockets, and a cargo rack door that opens to fit a stenciled brick of Han Solo frozen in carbonite (a favorite piece among collectors). Other minifigs in this set include Boba Fett, a Bespin guard (with African-American skin tone), and two new figures--bounty hunters, IG-88 and Dengar--who are not found in any other Lego sets. The 537-piece Slave I takes anywhere from three to five hours to build with some help from the illustrated instructions. If you have seen the 1st Slave I(no link), you know it was horrible: out of size, too angular, etc. The 2nd Star Wars Lego #7153 Jango Fett's Slave I was in right scale and with turnable wings, but still with some details missing (like repulsor). And the 3rd version (this one) is AMAZING. There are about 3 details missing, but it have so many that it don't matter (it's lego, you can change it). the hidden cannon, the missles, the details in the wings and in the bottom (repulsor), etc. I just don't feel happy about the price, but it makes sense: it's a HARD TO FIND item. This set took me 5 hours and 30 minutes to build. Don't hold it by the plastic top because I used to do that and I dropped it, but thankfully it landed on a pillow.
I used the Bespin Guard's head and hands for my Mace Windu, But my dog bit on it so now I don't have it any more. I lllllllllllllllooooooooooovvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeee having BOBA FETT!!!!!!!!

This is one of my son's favorite Starwar lego sets he received for Christmas. He needed a little help from his Uncle to put together but once together it was one of the sturdier models that he has. This set is perfect for a 9 year old or older in my opinion. Not to big but not to small that one would become bored putting it together. It really is one worth the money, not one that can break apart easily during play.

I have helped my son assemble many of the Lego Star Wars series of toys. He had been asking for this particular model--the Slave I--for half a year. The trouble is, none of the local stores carry it. Even the local Lego store fails to keep it in stock, so I purchased it through Amazon.com.
It is a fun project, with a number of working parts. The model is complex, and this intricacy adds to the fun.
The main trouble, though, is the instructions. Unlike all the other Lego Star Wars models we have put together, this one does not list the parts needed at the top of each page. As a result, it is sometimes tricky to determine exactly which pieces are used in any given page. One has to examine the illustration on each page very carefully, to see which pieces are being added on that page. It is easy to miss added pieces, unless one flips back and forth between pages.

Most Lego creations break at some point or another. With this one, when it comes apart, you don't have to start at the beginning to re-build it - you can usually just snap a piece back together. When put together, this set has actual working missile launchers. It also has a bomb launcher and two hidden guns. It comes with Boba Fett, two other bounty hunters, a Bespin guard, and Han Solo in Carbontine. The cockpit swivels when you rotate the ship body. That's cooler than having to twist a dial or something like I have to do on my X-Wing Fighter Lego set.

Hey, Lego Star Wars fans! Ever wanted to be a Clone? Well now you can! This is a roleplay, a text-based storytelling game, where you and other players fight and adventure through the star wars world! This is an Rebublic vs. Separatist game, so you can't be a jedi or a sith, just a clone trooper. In this, you are a member of the famed 501st, with Captain Rex as your leader. Here's a list of what you can be: Clone Commander(3): You get to order others around and carry cool gear and stuff! ;) Clone Sharpshooter: Use a really awesome long-range blaster and snipe out the enemy! Clone Pilot: Pilot the various vehicles in the Clone Wars, like the V-19 Torrent! Clone Technician: Fix the broken-down vehicles. A very needed postion. Clone Trooper: Fight for the Rebublic! Well there you go! Have fun! Oh, and this is a literate game, so no chatspeak or lolspeak, or smilies. And please try to spell everything right.
