i think the snowspeeder is one of the best star wars
sets, the laser gun could be a bit better but the
snowspeeder rocks, it comes with luke, dack, and
a cool trooper.i think both the dack and the trooper
heads are one of a kind. definently a good set

The Snow Speeder really ROCKS THE HOUSE!!! It, as I figured out, is one of the 2 sets exclusively from "The Empire Strikes Back". (If you want to know, the other one is the Twin Pod) It comes complete with rebel pilots Luke and Dack. (The late gunner) Dack is a one-of-a-kind mini figure, which makes him a favorite dude. As for weapons, Luke pilots and mans the forward laser cannons. Dack merely has access to the tow cable. (SUUUURRRRRE... leave the good guys with the bad jobs!) Even though Dack could use a bit more attention, fun is at maximum when he fires the cable, it hooks on to an enemy fighter, and rams it into a rock wall. The computers are awesome with their diagram of an AT-AT in the cross hairs. This part of the set is an extremely fun to build craft. The hinge-like contraptions on the wings make it possible for the wings to go in the proper slanted position. (To have some fun and make the SS look funny, put the wings in a straight position!)
This Lego kit also comes with some other dude, who was too cheap to afford a name, with some kind of a weapon of mass desolation. Because of his having no identity, I call him Zinch. His weapon swivels and is very multipurpose. (Personally, I use mine as an Ion cannon.)
Overall, this is a very good, fun set.

When put together, this little snowspeeder rocks! It is just perfectly put together and one of my favorites. It's so cool that I wouldn't mind having several of them just for kicks. It is faithful to the original design and just looks great. It has the space for two figures (sitting back to back) with a harpoon gun in the back. It even has the little flaps on the wings for when it banks on corners....sweet! It also includes a Hoth Radar Dish and a Hoth Trooper. Well worth the price and a must for any Star Wars fan!

This is maybe my favorite in the current Star Wars Lego lineup. Yes, the rear gunner compartment is a little large, but the number of pieces is really suprising considering how underbuilt some of the current lego sets are. Lots of pieces means more fun for kids and more options for serious builders. Large wing pieces and full-size transparent front and rear cockpit elements are a big bonus, as are the unnecessary wing articulating pieces, many sloped bricks, hinges, and three mini-figs (two pilots and a Hoth ground soldier).

Buy a couple. The price is very reasonable, and a fleet of them provides countless building options.
