This watch is pretty fly. I grew up playing with legos and have grown away from them, but this is a very pleasant novelty.
I wouldn't wear it while engaging in any strenuous activities, but it's sturdy enough for everyday wear, plus if a link or two wears out you can simply change it for another.
I was pleasantly surprised to discover it glows a bit in low light. It's been a while since I've had a watch glow.
Fun watch for people of all ages January 14, 2008
I bought three of these watches: One for my adult daughter, one for my teenage daughter and one for my young son. Everyone loves this watch. My kids' friends rave about them, too. Because the bezel and the band can be changed around, my oldest doesn't whine that she needs a new watch because (gasp) she has worn this one for a whole month and now needs a new look. She simply rearranges it to make it look new. The kids customize their watches so that we don't get them mixed up. Despite rearranging band pieces and bezels, the watches are holding up well and the clasp hasn't been a problem.

I think a created watch made from colorful legos is a great idea that my 13 year old niece should like. She can create an individualized watch for a reasonable price.

We bought several Lego watches for Christmas for the "kids" in our extended family whose ages range from 4-7. I think we were more excited about them than the kids were - they were not at all impressed. It's tough in today's day and age to purchase gifts that kids will love when all they want is electronics. The watches were a little more flimsy than I thought they would be; I expected they would be rough and tough like other Lego toys. One did arrive with a dead battery, but was returned to Amazon with no issue whatsoever.

LEGO STAR WARS ROLEPLAY!
Hey, Lego Star Wars fans! Ever wanted to be a Clone? Well now you can! This is a roleplay, a text-based storytelling game, where you and other players fight and adventure through the star wars world! This is an Rebublic vs. Separatist game, so you can't be a jedi or a sith, just a clone trooper. In this, you are a member of the famed 501st, with Captain Rex as your leader. Here's a list of what you can be: Clone Commander(3): You get to order others around and carry cool gear and stuff! ;) Clone Sharpshooter: Use a really awesome long-range blaster and snipe out the enemy! Clone Pilot: Pilot the various vehicles in the Clone Wars, like the V-19 Torrent! Clone Technician: Fix the broken-down vehicles. A very needed postion. Clone Trooper: Fight for the Rebublic! Well there you go! Have fun! Oh, and this is a literate game, so no chatspeak or lolspeak, or smilies. And please try to spell everything right.

JEDI COUNCIL MEETINGS
hello fellow jedi. I just thought that it would be neat if we could make a jedi counsel. Of course if you are like me, a padawan, you won't be on the counsel. you have to pass the test first. here it goes. true or false: Obi wan owned Boga. Super battle droids were invented by who? what was obi wan's famouse line after defeting general greviouse? who trained greviouse? what episode did anakin and padme get married? name the 5 jedi masters who went to defeat palpatine. if you pass this test your on tha cousel.
