This LEGO kit is for serious builders--or at least for serious Star Wars fans. Over 1,000 interconnecting pieces make up this kit that, when all put together, creates a 14-inch-tall model of the Jedi Master, Yoda. The colored illustrations in the instruction booklet show how to assemble the tan, brown, and green pieces, while three different pictures on the back of the box show variations in the completed product. But any way you look at it, 1,078 more LEGO pieces to add to a collection isn't half bad. --Pam Lauer

...The directions are pretty easy and it was fun making it. It took me one whole day and I could have done it in less hours if I didn't make mistakes and do some parts all over again. Anyways I recommend this collectible and you can actually move his head! You can put it on your shelf and enjoy the view of Yoda !- Yoda is the best!

Always in the hunt for any kinda Yoda- related merchandise to get for my mom (she's a hardcore Yoda-phile), this D.I.Y. gnome initially had some potential to be yet another addition to her collection. I liked the, um, blocky look and found this little statue somewhat whimsical. Had Picasso envisioned such a creature during his cubist period, this statue would've most likely been the result of his vision.Unfortunately, I found the price tag for this set too rich for just a static collection of interlocking plastic blocks. Now I realize Lego sets- especially when combined with the Star Wars brand- tend to be expensive, but, if I'm gonna put out that many bucks down for this contraption, the LegoLanders could've at least included a few things that'd make the little guy a little livelier. A mere swiveling head just ain't gonna cut it for me! Why not throw in some turntable pieces so his arms can move at the shoulders? And while you're at it, howzabout includin' some electronic gadgetry? Like little lights that make his eyes glow, or a movement-activated voice chip containing several of his famous sayings. Now, THAT would make it worth the price! FUN FACTOR: Two Stars. Aside from actually putting it together, this overpriced, glorified statue is NOT something I'd consider a major diversion in the realm of fun-time! The fun's pretty much done as soon as the little green man is all together... DURABILITY: Four Stars. True, this'll fly right apart if dropped, but each individual brick will more than likely survive with narry a scratch to be reassembled into the collective whole once again! EDUCATIONAL FACTOR: One Star. Unless you're using this as an exhibit in a class on pop culture, I wouldn't count on this bad-boy to be a significant factor in your pursuit of higher education. I love Yoda character in general. It's fun to build it, it's fun to have it standing on your shelf but that's about it. If you take it appart make sure you don't mix the parts with other Lego sets. Educational value? None. It's not like any other Lego box set, when you build your stuff (according to the design) once or twice than break it appart and just use your imagination in future projects. This set is more like building an airplane model. You build it, and leave it alone. No doubt a great addition to any Star Wars collection and a joy for an eye but quite useless after.

Hey, Lego Star Wars fans! Ever wanted to be a Clone? Well now you can! This is a roleplay, a text-based storytelling game, where you and other players fight and adventure through the star wars world! This is an Rebublic vs. Separatist game, so you can't be a jedi or a sith, just a clone trooper. In this, you are a member of the famed 501st, with Captain Rex as your leader. Here's a list of what you can be: Clone Commander(3): You get to order others around and carry cool gear and stuff! ;) Clone Sharpshooter: Use a really awesome long-range blaster and snipe out the enemy! Clone Pilot: Pilot the various vehicles in the Clone Wars, like the V-19 Torrent! Clone Technician: Fix the broken-down vehicles. A very needed postion. Clone Trooper: Fight for the Rebublic! Well there you go! Have fun! Oh, and this is a literate game, so no chatspeak or lolspeak, or smilies. And please try to spell everything right.
