This is a great toy!One time when I was playing with it, the wing fell and broke,but other than that it is a good toy.[I still think this toy should be cheaper].

This lego model is very fun. I love to build it. To the kid who thought this was a one star lego model and to everyone else who reads this, THIS IS NOT A TOY!!! This is a model. If you have had legos before, you'd know that legos break easily, especially if you play with them. I would reccomend this toy to responsible people, our kids 8 and up.

This was an excellent toy. I am a 13 year old from Chatham Mass. And I love Star Wars. This particular set was awesome. The mini-figs are so cool, especially the clones. Yoda's pretty cool. It cost 10 dollars more than that ARC 170 starfighter I bought but its worth every penny. I started collecting about the time when the Episode 3 toys came out. I dont really like the random legos that arent based on something. I have all but 3 of the lego Episode 3 sets. I must admit that this set was the best. It has plenty of minifigs and cool featuers like the rocket, and the neon bombs.Its worth every penny.

I feel a bit sheepish - every other reviewer seems to unequivocally love this set. So I suppose I must step up to the plate and offer a dissenting opinion, even if I'm the only one that feels that way.
LEGO Star Wars has become a recent passion of mine, and I've been absolutely delighted with all the sets I could get my block-building fingers on...until the Wookiee Catamaran. It was a sobering reminder that not everything LEGO does is magic.
I have two major "issue areas" with the set - one, theme, and two, the set's durability. I'll get to the theme later, but I'll take some time to disagree with the other reviews in terms of the set's construction. The most noticeable and frustrating thing are the side panels on the pontoons. These curved, brown pieces (which look great) have broken one of the major tenets of LEGO's success - support. Most LEGO models, in clever and inventive (or merely basic) ways make sure that the modular blocks stay on by using other blocks to anchor and support. This is because it's implicit that kids are going to be playing with these things, so they need to be tough. But, for this full-grown LEGO fan, the freakin' unsupported side panels kept falling off, and I wasn't playing with the set :) . Sometimes, they would fall off at a touch, sometimes, during the construction itself in an unrelated area. There was a lot of colorful language associated with the building of this set, which was made all the more annoying due to the fact that you need to build two huge pontoons, each alike to the other. If anyone out there has built the LEGO AT-AT, you might have experienced a similar feeling building four identical walker legs - the pontoons were tedious and not very rewarding. "Aha!" I realized after building both. "Now I have two huge canoes!"
In its defense, the catamaran itself is a marvel of LEGO engineering. It has a functional propeller, a working rocket launcher, and even "bomb" bays in the pontoons. It's sleek and distinctive, but that leads to the theme issue...
It's a boat. Star Wars is about spaceships and walkers and hovercraft and tanks and speeders and fighter jets - not boats. It doesn't fit the mold, and to make matters worse, I can't remember it from Episode III. Yoda did not look sternly at Chewbacca and say, "To the Wookiee Catamaran go we must," So, it's mostly by itself in the Star Wars boating department, and for that, it's just less attractive.
Besides the catamaran, you get a neat little Clone hovercraft, though the more I look at the thing, the more I feel it could have done with some more bells `n' whistles. Rounding out the set are our decent but not spectacular cast of minifigures - little Yoda (with walking stick), gruff Chewie (with bowcaster), anonymous "Wookiee Warrior" (with spear), little-known Jedi Luminara (with light-up green lightsaber), and my personal faves, two Clone Troopers (with green piping on their armor and blue-tipped blasters).
In summary, the set disappointed me, but it's not bad. If you're lured to a big, bad brown boat and a cast of the Muppet Show from another galaxy riding it into action, buy the Wookiee Catamaran you will.

Hello Lego Star Wars fans! If you were a Lego Star Wars character what planet would you live on? I would live on coruscant because it is a big city.
WHO IS BETTER? A STORMTROOPER OR A CLONETROOPER?
Title says all. I think its a clone trooper because they are better at aiming, are more intelligent, help their injured companions, are independent, can work together, and have better armour. I know they seem better because they were only CGI (but didn't seem like it) and that the stormtroopers were older, and from the original Star Wars movies, I still like clones.
